Darragh Kenny (IRL) comes from an equestrian family and grew up in County Offaly in Ireland. He started competing on ponies when he was ten years old and rode at the Junior European Championships and the Young Rider European Championships. Darragh won a training bursary at the RDS Dublin Horse Show in 2007 to work for Missy Clark and John Brennan at North Run Stables in Warren, Vermont (USA).

He returned in the winter of 2008 to compete for them on the Florida circuit. Darragh competed as a member of the Irish Jumping Team with “Imothep” at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France, where he finished in 12th place overall. While competing on the European circuit, Darragh was an integral part of the Irish team that won the 2015 Nations Cup CSIO 5* on his home ground at the Dublin Horse Show. In 2016 he went on to win the GP - CSIO5* Barcelona Nation Cup Final. With his exciting 2017 win at the GCL in Shanghai, he is now ranked as one of the top riders in the world.
