The third and fourth instalments of the 2016 Global Champions League international TV highlights are now online and available to watch via YouTube. Broadcast around the world, the next two episodes in the series showcase the top sporting action from inside the ring, plus give behind the scenes access and exclusive interviews from the riders, horses and team on the League.
Round three, and it was a glittering display of teamwork as the Antwerp Diamonds shot to the ranking lead after stealing a sparkling win at their home venue in Belgium. U25 team rider, and home hero Jos Verlooy (BEL) said “we came with the big guns - our aim was to win and we did, so I couldn’t be happier!”
Donning their team jackets for the first time in the Championship, which sported personalised names, logos and team sponsors, the chilly weather in Belgium posed no problem for the twelve teams, all hot to compete for the first European leg of the League. Watched on by fans and VIPs, with many more tuning in via the GCL TV live streaming, the scene was set in the intimate sand arena, nestled next to the River Scheldt.

Episode four saw the League head to Shanghai. It was another phenomenal round of intense action with the competition down to the wire in China as the GCL made its fourth stop on the 2016 Championship. 25 year old Andreas Kreuzer (GER) teamed up with 27 year old David Will (GER) for the first time to represent the Cascais Charms and the pair delivered a flawless performance over the two round class to take a magnificent win. It was Andreas’ debut on the League, and speaking about the unique opportunity to compete on this level, Andreas said: “It’s an unbelievable experience for all of us. It’s a totally different feeling to ride in this type of competition."
