The action-packed final of the Global Champions League inaugural season is broadcast on CNN and CNBC as the worldwide audience for top-level show jumping continues to rise.

Valkenswaard United’s victory at the final leg of the 15-event team series was also broadcast live on beIN Sports across the Middle East and North Africa. As the popularity of the sport continues to increase and more countries participate in the competitions, more and more households are being reached on TV. The dramatic final of the GCL team circuit, with multiple upsets and twists and turns, will also be broadcast on CNBC next weekend (click here for broadcast schedule).

CNN World Sport will show a review of the GCL final again tonight at 12.30am CET and at 6am CET tomorrow. The innovative format and colourful look of the team competitions have been popular with fans on TV and online watching the GCL TV live streaming. Teams wear signature kit including polo shirts in their special colours and displaying their team logos. The competition kicked off in Miami Beach with Valkenswaard United’s win and finished in Doha with the dynamic duo of Bertram Allen and John Whitaker making history and winning the first-ever GCL championship and a large share of the €4.5 million prize money.
